I’ve been a long-standing fan of Busts 4 Justice since their epic battle against tit-tax back in 2007, and the fabulous Busts 4 Justice blog has kept me hooked ever since. Author Beckie Williams writes topical, interesting (and sometimes controversial!) posts about the joys and faux pas’ of The Lingerie World. Her sparkling wit and talent to spot a great story has often engaged me and left me thinking, her charming way with words and delightful anecdotes (anyone else fancy a ride on Cecil?!) has kept me going back to the ‘B4J’ blog time and time again, but recently, I left feeling dismayed.
Last week I popped along to 28 Portland Place to have a nose at the SS12 collection from Eveden, and dribble over beautiful lingerie. With the Mini Divas in attendance too (they recommended highly the chocolate brownies at the launch) it was amazing to have a sneak peek at the luscious large cup lingerie we will all be sporting next season.
I was particularly in love with the range of 20′s and 50′s inspired fabric prints on the forthcoming ranges, there is a real sense of pattern and vintage references.
Things that made me go ooooooh: More

When Cheryl and I went to MODA together back in August, we were lucky enough to see most of the S/S12 collection, but nothing quite compares to a press event. There’s a sense of urgency at Moda – as bloggers we can feel in the way of ‘serious’ buyers and not really take our time going through the collections. By this I actually mean cuddling them all in sheer glee and taking a million photos to lust over at a later date. Don’t get me wrong, Moda is wonderful and all the brands are so welcoming, but as Freya fan girls sometimes we just need an unnecessary amount of time with the beautiful lingerie, and the recent Eveden press event was the perfect opportunity for this.
Sadly Cheryl could’t come for the day, much to her annoyance (read: strop) and whilst I was going along any ways, I realised it was time I stepped up my game and masqueraded as a different blonde for the day. Instructed to take as many photos as I possibly could, off I went to London, invite in hand.
Here at Fitting Talk we adore the new ‘mothership’ Freya Lingerie site – all shiny and new! It is packed with gorgeous flash and exciting techno-gadgets, linking all the Freya platforms into one integrated site, showcasing the Freya brand, Freya Active, Freya Lounge and Freya’s swimwear ranges. So pretty!
Lots of hard work has gone into making the new site perfect, so many congratulations to the Freya team, it has the Fitting Talk seal of approval!
Devastated you couldn’t make it along to the UK lingerie trade show this year? Not to worry, this Freya blogger was there to report on all the latest releases up and coming for Spring/Summer 2012. That’s right, 2012! Just so you’re seasons ahead and have all the latest gossip on the latest lingerie trends… which is all very organised really!
As a huge fan of the lingerie exhibition Moda, I went along to see the new Freya collections showcased this year in the Birmingham NEC Arena. With new Freya Active and Active Swim pieces and the return of the Deco in two new fashion colours ‘Red’ and ‘Ocean’ (a mid-tone royal blue):
