Freya SS12 preview – my favourites 0

Last week I popped along to 28 Portland Place to have a nose at the SS12 collection from Eveden, and dribble over beautiful lingerie. With the Mini Divas in attendance too (they recommended highly the chocolate brownies at the launch) it was amazing to have a sneak peek at the luscious large cup lingerie we will all be sporting next season.

I was particularly in love with the range of 20′s and 50′s inspired fabric prints on the forthcoming ranges, there is a real sense of pattern and vintage references.

Things that made me go ooooooh:

The new Freya loungewear, Gracie, is what I shall be mainly wearing as SOON as it is available; I love the soft fabric, chic black and white prints and stylish cut of the bloggers (or tired mum!) uniform. The key here is that the loungewear comes to fit your bust as well as your body so the awful dilemma of having to buy a larger size and be swamped in your slouchy gear to fit your chest doesn’t happen.

As an avid Deco fan, the new bright red colourway was great to see. I love Deco for it’s subtle smooth shape, but why not have a racy red colour in Deco? Why not indeed! Freya, I love it. As well as the new racy red Deco is also going to be in Ocean Blue, so our basics just got colour blocked – perfect!

The skater style swimwear briefs offer a fab alternative to for bikini bottoms , and I loved seeing this an an alternative for us ladies who want to look stylish but may have a few lumps and bumps to disguise.

The new Freya Active bras with the racer back got a thumbs up from me, as did the Active swimwear which looks so cool you could wear it in the gym before taking a dip in the pool. I am still running and continuing my training after the last Freya Active bra took me all the way through my half marathon training, so I am looking forward to putting this one to the test.

The Edina longline bra with it’s burlesque style and retro lines stood out for me – maybe I need to add burleque lessons to my New Diva 365 project of doing something new every day and release my inner burlesque diva. I rather like the name Roxeanne Cherry….taking it too far? Ok.

Freya have their fingers on the pulse again and I am very excited to see what you other Freya ladies will think when it all hits the shops soon – I know I can’t wait!
