Devastated you couldn’t make it along to the UK lingerie trade show this year? Not to worry, this Freya blogger was there to report on all the latest releases up and coming for Spring/Summer 2012. That’s right, 2012! Just so you’re seasons ahead and have all the latest gossip on the latest lingerie trends… which is all very organised really!
As a huge fan of the lingerie exhibition Moda, I went along to see the new Freya collections showcased this year in the Birmingham NEC Arena. With new Freya Active and Active Swim pieces and the return of the Deco in two new fashion colours ‘Red’ and ‘Ocean’ (a mid-tone royal blue):
I was like a kid in a candy shop when it came next season’s goodies. “Why can’t it be spring again?!” I hear you cry? Well hold your horses, you haven’t even seen the best of it yet…
The Freya Beau set
The Patsy set is a deliciously fruity lime green with white polka dots
Patsy is also available in a padded half-cup style.
The Edina set is a decadent black and white floral print with lace detailing – perfect for a ‘monochrome moment’…
The Edina is also available in a long-line style with a full brief a la the Neive of this season:
The Pixie is a cute-as-a-button mix of prints – with pin-dot black and white teamed with a multi-coloured floral – unexpected but so 2012.
The Pixie set is available in regular plunge and half-cup styles:
The Freya Lyla is a revival of this season’s pink and teal version in a black and red to keep you hotter than your barbecues or a chestnut colour which is oh-so sexy-sheer.
The Freya Ellie is another adorable floral with the fruity cocktail of pink and green which is so fresh and pretty.
The Freya Luisa is a more graphic floral with daisies in mid-tone blue rounded squares and delicate white and blue lace detail. The mixture of correlating geometric shapes and floral makes a really unique print and there is something ever-so ‘holiday’ about it.
And that’s not all – you can still match you lingerie to your sleepwear in 2012, with sets to match the Edina bra set and others.
Left feeling like you want more? This is a mere cross-section of the next collection – but don’t feel down about the wait, you still have Autumn/Winter 2011 to look forward to yet!
