I am nearly all packed! I have my camera, ipad, iphone, clothes and makes up all sorted for a weekend away at the huge Cybher conference held in London this weekend.. Freya are sponsoring the event and me to attend! I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am.

Cybher is the first all inclusive female blogger event of its kind in the UK.This one-day event will bring together the most influential bloggers and speakers from all corners of the blogosphere to network, inspire, share and learn. One of those speakers is our very own Jo from Dextrous Diva – I am looking forward to hearing her speak.

A Little Bit of Femininity with Elize

The English word feminine is derived from the Latin femina meaning “woman” or “female,” and literally “she who suckles! I find this amusing that this female word links to the idea of breasts and feeding and feel that again all of woman hood seems to be associated with the idea of boobs.

Maybe breast do define us as in a physical sense as a woman but I think think femininity  is more than that. It includes, behaviours and attribute associated with being female that can actually be seen in all sexes and genders. That could include a love for colours, materials, make-up, heels, romantic comedies – you name the female stero-type and it comes under the umbrella of femininity.

I am ridiculously feminine. I don’t shy away from hard graft, but if I can do it in heels, with my make-up on, then I will! And if I need overalls and my Wellies on, then I want to feel feminine underneath.

This can be done with the most stunning set of lingerie called Elize.

It is made from a beautifully feminine lilac satin material and is edged in sexy black lace. The bra itself is slightly padded to give that little bit of extra support and smooth shape.

The straps are also lilac and edged with black and the knickers come in a brief, shorts or thong variety!

It feels pretty and girly and yet had a sultry feel to it.

This April has been so dismal! The Mini Divas and I are longing for some lovely Spring sunshine, although we did enjoy some puddle splashing yesterday – togged up in wellies and rain coats getting wet and larking about is a lot of fun.

Howdy, lovely Freya ladies!

I hope you are just fine and dandy. Do you remember last year I ran my first ever half marathon in September? Well, this year I am going a step further; I am taking part in another Run to the Beat half marathon and also cycling 40k in the womens cycling event Cycletta. Both events are in aid endometriosis, a chronic health condition I live with every day that affects one in 10 women.

Choosing which Freya lingerie underwear set to wear each day is one of my favourite choices of the day.

I love that I can choose from a nude, neutral Deco for sheer and seamless support, or a leopard print Roxeanne, a girly Luisa or a foxy Lyla; I like to think that each set brings out something else in me, a girly side, the vampy side, the mum-at-home side. All of them are part of me.
