Thanks for contacting the Bra Doctor.
The Deco range is the only moulded bra that Freya have. You may like to try our sister brand Fantasie's moulded bra Rebecca, it is slightly fuller in the cup, with a softer mould that may suit your bust shape better.
Thanks for contacting the Bra Doctor.
A soft cup bra may be a better option that underwired however it will still be relatively tight around the chest. Please see here for our range of soft cup bras.
To ensure adequate support the majority of larger cup bras will be tight around the chest. She may like to try a bralette style but this is unlikely to give adequate support if she has a large bosom.
Freya bras are meant to be worn as a snug fit however they should not cause discomfort. You may find they do leave a mark on the skin, similar to the marks socks can leave. Bras can also take a couple of wearings to wear in.
However if the bra feels excessively tight, uncomfortable and painful I would recommend returning with it to the original shop to ensure it is the correct fit and style for you.
You may be wearing the right size but have the wrong style for your bust type. If you are wearing a full cup or a moulded bra you may find a half cup fit is better for you.
We love the Deco half cup moulded which you can view here. Or alternatively there is the entire Freya half cup collection to view here.
If it is saggy in the cups themselves then maybe look at going down a cup size, otherwise if it is the band that is too loose (more than one finger can easily slide underneath) then it may be the band size that needs to come down.
Do be aware that over time the elasticity within the swimwear will degrade causing it to become a little looser.
The Deco shape high waisted brief is made from elasticated material so it will stretch to a degree. It is designed to go in at the waist however this will be based on average sizing so if you are considerably smaller than average around the waist it may just not be as tight.
You may find the short or the brief to be more suitable to your body shape.
Freya has many retail and online stockists in the USA. Please see here for your nearest stockist.
We do have several ranges of nursing bras available in 30G, please see here. However they are not moulded or underwired.
In June we are bringing out a new range of underwired, moulded nursing bra - Pure which will be available in 30G.
For a high impact sport such as running we would recommend the Freya Active Crop Top which wearer tests have demonstrate reduce independent movement by 92%.
While you are still healing a soft cup bra would be the best option for you - we love the Deco Soft cup or the Dotty for something a bit more feminine.
It's estimated that 80% of women are in the wrong size bra, but it's easy to find the right fit every time. See our quick video guide.
