Thank you for contacting the Freya Bra Doctors.
It is very difficult to tell your size without seeing your bust - I advise that you visit your nearest stockist to recieve a fitting as you will be able to gain advice about bra shapes and styles which are correct for you.
As a comapny we rarely use a tape measure as some people can measure quite slack and others very tight making it difficult to judge accurate measurements however when the bra is fitted on the body it is clear to see how it fits.
I hope this helps.
We advise that ou buy the same size in the swimwear and the lingerie. It is always great to try on in store before you buy though just to ensure the fit of the style is right for you.
If you would like to visit your nearest Freya stockist and recieve a fitting and then contact us with your size - we will forward this information to our design team to see whether they need that size for fittings.
We advise that you take a look at our sister brand - Fantasie Swimwear as they offer a little more modest styles which have adjustable legs and are higher cut on the neck edge. Please visit www.fantasie.com to view the collection. If you stick to the UK 34G I am sure you will have porblem ordering a Freya or Fantasie swimsuit.
It is great that you have been fitted but if you are finding the bra is too big on the back, we would advise that you try a smallerback size and a larger cup size for example if you are currently wearing a 32DD, try a 30E or 28F.
We hope this helps.
Thank you very much for getting in touch with the Bra Doctors. When you are pregnant it is advisable to wear a soft cup bikini - for example Samba, Lindy Hop and Marimba would be perfect styles for you to wear - the soft cup also offers great coverage.
The Retro padded plunge has indeed discontinued but don't worry as Freya has introduced the Lauren Plunge bra which has a new and improved fit in comparison to the Retro - So we would advise that you visit your nearest stockist and recieve a fitting in the Laure style to ensure that you are the same size in both style bras.
We are very sorry for the delay in reply. We realise that you will have already ran the triathlon and we hope that you may have found the Freya Active Swimwear. But if you did not, I would like to tell you more about it now, as if you do any future triathlons it is the perfect swimsuit for you.
The Freya Active swimwear features an inbuilt Freya Active soft cup sports bra which features the same non compressive and super supportive design of the 4001 Active bra.
The suit is streamlined and looks great on - available in mocha, black, damson and aquamarine. It s a real winner for sporty women who want to be supported and still look fashionable. Please visit www.freyalingerie.com for further details about the swimwear.
It's estimated that 80% of women are in the wrong size bra, but it's easy to find the right fit every time. See our quick video guide.
