Thanks for contacting the Bra Doctor.
As measurements can be so inaccurate we always recommend that you are fitted into your Freya Bra. Please see here for your nearest Freya stockist.
An Australian 14DD is equivalent to a UK 36DD.
If you are unsure if you are wearing the correct size bra then please view our fitting video here which will demonstrate how the correct size fits.
Each range and style will fit different individuals differently so you may find that one cup size larger is the better fit for you but this will depending on your body and bust shape.
The bra should sit flush against the skin between the breasts, if it does not then it is not the correct size for you.
If you are unsure of your correct size for this bra then we would recommend visiting your nearest Freya stockist to be fitted into the bra. You can find your nearest stockist here.
We do not recommend that you sleep wearing your bra. Bras should be fitted very snugly to offer full support and so sleeping one is potentially not so comfortable.
However we would recommend wearing nightwear that does include an integral bra that is not generally as tight as your usual bra but will offer light support such as the Sweet Dreams range.
Firstly ensure you always wear a very good sports bra that will give full support such as the Freya Active moulded crop top.
As there is no muscle in the breast tissue, the bust itself cannot be toned up, however there are several exercises that will help tone the pectoral muscles behind the breasts and this will help firm up the whole upper body. You could try doing the chest press and the pec fly.
As body and bust shapes are so variable, measurements will not always give an accurate size equivalent.
To ensure you are wearing the correct size we recommend that you are fitted into the bra you are looking to purchase. Please see here to find your nearest Freya stockist where you will be able to get fitted.
As measurements can be inaccurate and different styles and ranges can fit so differently we recommend you visit your nearest Freya Stockist to be fitted to ensure you are wearing the correct size.
