Thanks for contacting the Bra Doctor.
The longline style of bras usually have 6 hooks and come down an inch below the underwire.
We love the Flourish and the new Hopscotch range that has just come out.
Thanks for contacting the Bra doctor.
The Gem bra was originally based on the Rio range which you can view here.
During pregnancy you bust size and shape will change several times so you may need to be fitted more than once. If you find the bra you had initially been fitted in no longer fits then we would recommend you are refitted. You can find your nearest stockist here.
As a general rule underwire bras are not recommended during pregnancy as your breasts will be changing so rapidly and the underwires are restrictive and unforgiving.
Currently we do not have maternity swimwear so there is not a range I could recommend.
We would recommend that you stay in a 32 back, although on some ranges you may need to wear it on the second hook to ensure adequate support.
The Flourish would be a good option for you as well as the Lauren balcony whose thicker material will give a firm more supportive feel.
You may also like to try the Rebecca range in our sister brand Fantasie. It comes up slightly firmer in the back than other styles and as the straps are close together at the back slippage is prevented.
Any racer back styles will help with slippage and distribute the pressure such as the Jana which has this option.
The Gem is an excellent everyday bra which gives superb support and lift. We also love the Faye and the Lauren, both of which offer complete support and a lovely shape.
Unfortunately the Freya Active swim range only goes up to a H cup.
The nearest swim wear we have in this size is the Pier plunge bikini in a 32JJ, which would be the next best size for a 30K.
Freya does not go up to a back size of 42, however our sister brand Elomi has a large range in your size. The Caitlyn offers excellent support and containment as well as a lovely shape.
Unfortunately the Retro Basic range has been discontinued however if you try our sister brand Fantasie, their Serene is very similar to the retro full cup.
Not all Freya ranges will come in a 32GG, however see here for the 38 ranges that do.
All of our ranges are based on the same sizing however different ranges can fit differently due to the different styles and fabrics used.
Freya is in UK sizes, so the 32GG is a US 32J. You can find the size conversion chart here.
In the Deco range the most similar fit to the Patsy half cup is the Deco half cup which you can view here.
Once you’ve discovered your size, you need to find the style to suit your shape & flatter your figure. Uncover our hints & tips to help you choose the right bra.
