Thanks for contacting the Bra Doctor.
Your UK equivalent size to 30G is 30F.
Please use our find a store guide here to locate your nearest online and in-store Freya stockists.
We love our In The Mix and Floral Pop halter tankinis. Both have an integral bra with hook and eye adjustment for ultra great shape and support.
Our Gem balcony bra will be great for you. It gives great support, fit and uplift and is very pretty.
Your underwire should fit behind the breast tissue and under your arm comfortably all day. If it doesn't do this it suggests your cup size is incorrect. We would recommend a fitting with your local Freya stockist and also take along the bra that is digging in so that they can advise further.
All brands can fit differently dependant on style and materials used so it would be best to visit your local high street store and try on a bikini before purchasing. Alternatively please see our bra sized swimwear collections here.
The Deco soft cup is only made to cup size G.
You are correct - your alternate size to try would be 32G.
Sports bras can fit differently to your lingerie as they are designed to be tighter and provide additional support during exercise. The issue you mention suggests you are wearing the wrong size. It always best to be fitted into a sports bra so we would definitely recommend a visit to your local Freya Stockist for a fitting with one of our professional consultants.
In any style of bra always start with your size of 36DD. You may have to alter this on occasion dependant on material used and design but generally you should be the same.
A 't-shirt' bra or moulded/smoothing bras do not have seams on the cups so appear smooth underneath clothing.
The underwire issue you mention with the JJ suggests the back size is incorrect. The wire should sit behind the breast tissue and comfortably under your arm as described in our fitting video here.
I have been sure to pass on your comments to the relevant departments.
The next cup size from a FF is a G which you can buy if you like but if you are unsure on your size we would definitely recommend being fitted at your local Freya stockist as your body has been through a lot of changes during and after pregnancy.
