The cup sizes will increase along with the back sizes, so for example a 34 G cup is smaller than a 36G cup. If possible try on both sizes to see which gives the better fit.

You should be the same size - 32GG, however please be aware that different ranges can fit slightly different due to the different styles and fabrics used.

If you are a 28FF, your alternate size will be 30F, if you go up one band size, you come down one cup size.
Unfortunately we are not going to bring back the Retro Bra. However the Rio bra has been based on the Retro and is very similar in fit and style. You may also like the Gem which has also been based on the Retro.
The next size down (smaller) from a 32FF is a 32F.
However if you are looking for your alternate size and are normally a 32FF, it would be a 34F or a 30G.
If you are unsure about size it is always best to get fitted into the bra or swimsuit as the fit can vary between ranges due to the different styles and fabrics used.
