Thanks for contacting the Bra Doctor.
You might like to try a longline bra which is very good for smoothing the silhouette on the back and sides. We love the Flourish and the Hopscotch.
Different styles of bras and material will offer different levels of support. As a general rule formed cup bras will offer more support but it will depend on the whole structure of the bra. Although a soft cup formed cup bra is likely to be less supportive than a lace underwired bra.
The following ranges all have three hooks in the GG cup in the balcony style: Hopscotch, Ooh La La, Flourish, Faye, Gem, Bombshell and Thimble Cottage.
We love Deco too! So we like to see it in different colours and patterns.
It is very difficult to tell your true size from measurements because they are found to be around 70% incorrect. We would recommend going to your nearest Freya stockist to be professionally fitted, find your nearest store here. They can also advise you on the best style to suit your bust shape.
Our straps are made from a similar elasticated material, however it could be that the straps are too narrow and this is causing additional discomfort? You may like to try the new Enchanted range which does have wide straps.
Both the Tropics range and the new continuity range Enchanted are both based on the same shape as the Hello Dolly range which you have.
However you may also like to try the Marvel range, although the shape is a little different, the material and trim are very similar to the Hello Dolly.
You could try your alternate size 36F which will be not so tight and uncomfortable around the band. However if you are falling out of the cups it could be that this style does not suit your bust shape.
You may like to try our new Enchanted range, this is also a plunge balcony bra but as the cups are not moulded it may hold you in better.
The Tootsie bandeau tankini and bikini top both have detachable straps.
A banded bikini top has a band beneath the cups and all the way across the centre. A bandless bikini does not have any material beneath the cups, it ends at the wire.
As the banded bikini top has more structure it offers better support and uplift and is available in the larger cup sizes. For a 30G I think the banded bikini will be a better option for you as it will offer more support.
Once you’ve discovered your size, you need to find the style to suit your shape & flatter your figure. Uncover our hints & tips to help you choose the right bra.
