I am having some major confusion about cup size. In the US, most bra sizing for larger cup sizes go from D to DD to either DDD or an F. If a DDD=F in the US does that mean an E = DD, because on freya, sizes go DD, with E being larger and then EE being larger then F being larger, no substitutions. So does that mean an American F cup is the same size a Freya E cup, or are they the same size? Seems most companies are making their own cup charts and that means some F cups fit and some don't and I am horribly frustrated. Please, I need help ordering the right size.

Hi Freya! For years I've been wearing a 32 inch back, and I've always had to have it on the tightest hook even when it's brand new. My actual underbust measurement is 27 inches. I normally wear a 32DD, (27 inch underbust, 35.5 inch bust). I didn't even know I could find bras in a 28 inch band. Since I want to go down in the band to my actual measurement, would that make me a 28F or a 28G? I've tried bra calculators, and I received both measurements. Which one is correct?

Hi there,
Yes you should definetley be wearing a 28" back. The band around your chest is the main anchor for support and should sit firmly against your back. If you were wearing a 32DD, you should change size to a 28F. This size is available in the majority of Freya ranges. Happy shopping! Love Freya x

Hi! I burned my right breast two years ago and it hurts in most bras (I somehow managed to pour hot oil on the nipple and above). Is there a fabric or a shape that would be less likely to cause me pain or anything like that? I'm a 38F and I can't find that size where I live, so I have no idea and I'm a bit afraid to order. :P

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that wearing a bra is causing you pain. Why don't you try a soft cup style with no underwiring? We have two soft cup ranges, Kelly and Dotty, which have soft handle simplex fabric fully lined for comfort and still offer great support. Love Freya x

Hi I have recently noticed that my boobs are starting to droop, I have a very active job and am finding that they are very uncomfortable underneath especially if its warm as none of my bra's keep my bust lifted. What is the problem? Am I wearing the wrong sized bra's? Can you please recommend a bra that will keep them lifted, whilest still being comfortable in a active job? Many thanks :)

Hi there,
Here are a few pointers on knowing if you are wearing the right sized bra or not: 1) You should only be able to fit two fingers under your back strap, if you can fit more without feeling resistance, you need to go down a back size. 2) When you raise your arms your bra should stay in place, and not rise up or come away from the body. 3) The centre front of your bra should sit firmly against your chest separating your breasts. 4) Your underwiring should sit behind the breast and not dig in. 5) The cup should not dig in to the breast, if you have a double boob effect, you need to increase cup size. Firstly, I suggest you get professionally fitted at your nearest Freya stockist. Secondly I suggest you invest in a Deco T-shirt bra, which is excellent for uplift and support, and also a Freya Active sports bra. Although the effects of pendulous breasts are irreversible, you can now take steps towards preventing any further sagging. Love Freya x

Freya makes such high-quality, stylish bras, and I appreciate the lack of padding; it's so hard to find non-padded bras these days that are supportive, too. But it looks as though Deco is your only seamless, and that all of the Deco styles are foam=padded. The descriptions on the site are a little vague, though, so I can't quite tell. Do you have any seamless bras that are unlined? And if not, when will you?
Get Answer
Hi there, Deco is a moulded cup which does contain foam. The foam layer is very thin and does not aim to act as padding, but aims to mould the breast and give a great shape under a t-shirt. We are not looking currently to make an un-lined seamless bra however, we do appreciate your feedback, and will pass your comments on to the design team.

I want to buy the long line bra but can't find it in the US in my size. I'm a 34C inamerican sizes. Help!
Get Answer
Hi there, The longline Edina bra is available in a 34C but it depends on whether each retailer has decided to buy that particular size in the range. If you click on the find a store tab on the Freya webpage and select United States and online it will give you a list of online retailers that stock Freya. Hopefully you should be able to find one retailer out of the list that stocks the longline in your size. Good luck on your search. Love Freya x
