Hi there, Both sizes are the same in terms of cup size, but the back sizes will be different. You should be able to fit no more than two fingers under you back strap without feeling resistance. If you can stretch the back strap further then this then you should go down a back size. You should also always start your bra on the loosest hook and eye, then put it on the tighter setting when it becomes looser with age. Love Freya x
Hi there, The bra you are thinking of is our Retro bra, which has unfortunately been dis-continued. Luckily, we have brought a new style out called Lauren to replace it. This has the same single hook detail and plunging style to Retro, and is available up to a K cup in white or black. Love Freya x
Hi April, in UK sizing you should order a 36E, as this is the same as a 36DDD. Love Freya x
Hi there, Bra size does tend to vary from brand to brand, so you are right, it can be a trial and error process. I suggest you go and have a proffessional fitting at your nearest Freya stockist, and use this as guideline for the size to order. Most fitters will usually give you two bra sizes, so I recommend you order the two sizes the fitter suggests. Love Freya x

Yes you should definetley be wearing a 28" back. The band around your chest is the main anchor for support and should sit firmly against your back. If you were wearing a 32DD, you should change size to a 28F. This size is available in the majority of Freya ranges. Happy shopping! Love Freya x
Hi there, the Kelly soft cup does not have side support but has has soft handle simplex fabric fully-lined for firm support and is a good option for any post operation needs. Love Freya x
Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that wearing a bra is causing you pain. Why don't you try a soft cup style with no underwiring? We have two soft cup ranges, Kelly and Dotty, which have soft handle simplex fabric fully lined for comfort and still offer great support. Love Freya x
