Thanks for contacting the Bra Doctor.
The Deco soft cup is only made to cup size G.
You are correct - your alternate size to try would be 32G.
Sports bras can fit differently to your lingerie as they are designed to be tighter and provide additional support during exercise. The issue you mention suggests you are wearing the wrong size. It always best to be fitted into a sports bra so we would definitely recommend a visit to your local Freya Stockist for a fitting with one of our professional consultants.
In any style of bra always start with your size of 36DD. You may have to alter this on occasion dependant on material used and design but generally you should be the same.
A 't-shirt' bra or moulded/smoothing bras do not have seams on the cups so appear smooth underneath clothing.
The underwire issue you mention with the JJ suggests the back size is incorrect. The wire should sit behind the breast tissue and comfortably under your arm as described in our fitting video here.
I have been sure to pass on your comments to the relevant departments.
The next cup size from a FF is a G which you can buy if you like but if you are unsure on your size we would definitely recommend being fitted at your local Freya stockist as your body has been through a lot of changes during and after pregnancy.
We would recommend you are measured for a bra every 6-9 months so if your last fitting was a few years ago you should definitely go to your nearest stockist and be professionally fitted with one of our consultants as your cup size may have altered as well as your back size. If this is not possible please see our fitting video and advice on styles here.
Unfortunately we do not sell directly to customers. You can buy via the Freya site buy clicking the buy button on any item. This will link you to our sister site for your purchase.
The underwire not sitting flat on your body along with the bulge you mention definitely suggests your cup size is not big enough. Try the 34G If possible we would always recommend visiting a Freya stockist to be professionally fitted into your sports bra.
Bulging from the cups of your bra suggests your cup size is not big enough, have you been fitted as a 32F in the last 6 months? We would definitely recommend visiting your nearest Freya stockist for a professional fitting with one of our consultants. They can ensure you are wearing the correct size and also style for you bust shape.
Alternatively you could try the next cup size up, a FF.
Our Bondi and Zulu ranges both have a soft bikini top. Also our Spirit range has a soft cup tankini.
